Empowering Women in Traditional Leadership

The CONTRALESA Women's League (CWL) is the dedicated arm of the Congress of Traditional Leaders of South Africa, established to amplify the voices of women within traditional leadership structures. CWL champions the rights, roles, and recognition of women in traditional communities, ensuring their active participation in governance, cultural preservation, and socio-economic development.

Mission
